automobiles for the rural poor!
Bangladesh is a small country with 130 m people crammed into it. People in this vastly rural country travel on transport western people will gasp aloud seeing! They only need to travel from point A to B. That's all they really need, because they can't afford better transportation. They travel on carts fixed with shallow water pumping machines as the engine to drive the cart which doesn’t have a reverse mechanism.
One of the drivers of this ingenious transport thought better and came up with his own indigenous means to make the transport a little better. He fixed a brake and a roof! The idea became a tremendous success and none other than the big company like Grameen bank came up with partnership. But unfortunately the production remains unexpectedly below the target. Rafiq, the innovator became very frustrated and came to me for support but I am also a man of very limited income. We need only 10000 dollars to start with, don't be surprised. Rafiq started with 200 dollars initially. Now that the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology will carry out the feasibility tests and the Environment Department will give the necessary go-aheads, the money is really a big hurdle right at this moment. Is there any one with 10000 dollars to invest in our project?
I can assure you of success, because Rafiq has a vision. I will tell you more if you are interested....
